Richard Wagner Festival Graupa

The summer of 2015 is once more centered on the romantic period. The “Wagner Spiele” in the Richard Wagner Stätten Graupa are taking place for the third time. The festival highlight is the genre transcending production of the play “Wagner’s World: Dresden” by Johannes Gärtner. The public is poetically transferred to uniquely original locations in Wagner’s time. Renowned actors, singers and choruses join the North Bohemian Philharmonic Teplice in taking us straight to the 19th century: Wagner’s Dresden years are presented as a kaleidoscope of romantic open air experience in the Schloss courtyard, spotlighting his activities as theater musician, revolutionary and developing genius.

Before the show starts, the guests are invited to the Wagner Salon at the Lohengrin House: Dr. Peter Ufer speaks to celebrities about Wagner and his music.
